Enough thay đổi vị trí theo từ loại của từ mà nó bổ nghĩa. Nó luôn đứng sau tính từ và phó từ:
Are those french fries good enough for you?
She speak Spanish well enough to be an interpreter.
It is not cold enough now to wear a heavy jacket.
Nhưng lại đứng trước danh từ:
Do you have enough sugar for the cake?
He does not have enough money to attend the concert.

Nếu danh từ đã được nhắc đến trước đó, thì ở dưới có thể dùng enough như một đại từ thay cho danh từ
I forgot money. Do you have enough?
